• Start Location: Anderson St Park, 47 Anderson St, Hackensack, NJ
• If you plan on holding a giant puppet please arrive early, 1pm. If you plan on just marching in the parade arrive 1:45pm
• There will be dance stops in the parade at Noches De Columbia, Giant Farmers Market, and Iconic Coffee
• There will be a final performance by Hackensack Moves! In front of the portable stage on Atlantic St.
• End Point: Concludes near The Historic Green (42 Court Street) and the Atlantic Street Park area near the Hackensack Performing Arts Center (HACPAC)

Illumination 250 is an all-day arts festival happening on October 3, 2026 in celebration of American’s 250th Anniversary. It will include:

• Family Fun Day at Anderson Street Park
• “Quilt Trail”, an Immersive Public Art Installation at Anderson Street Park
• Giant puppet parade down Main Street
• Hackensacktoberfest at Atlantic Street Park
• MP3 Experiment flash mob
• all culminating with a light show and projection on the Historic Green.
