From the Inside Out
Event Navigation

“From the Inside Out” is a creative exploration of our attitudes and feelings about aging.
We begin with a series of enjoyable, guided exercises designed to enhance focus, concentration, and body awareness—inviting the body to lead the way in movement.
Through practices such as the “Buddha walk,” slow-motion plié, energy mirroring, and responding to natural sound, participants develop a deeper connection to both their internal and external energies. These exercises help build the awareness and confidence needed to create short movement pieces (30 seconds to 1 minute) that express personal reflections on aging—our feelings, hopes, and concerns.
This is an experiential workshop focused on process rather than performance. Participants will leave with creative tools that can grow and evolve with them over time.
