In 1962, Shirley and Earl Ubell founded the non-profit Center for Modern Dance Education in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Today, the Shirley and Earl Ubell Scholarship Fund helps cover the cost of providing dance classes and performance opportunities to people of any age or ability who cannot afford the full cost of tuition.
