Porter performed in Mikhail Baryshnikov’s GALA and been in residence at his center in NYC. \nPorter has received commissions from universities across the country and from The American Dance Festival. A Guggenheim Fellow\, Porter has received National Endowment for the Arts Choreography Fellowships\, New Jersey State Council on the Arts Choreography Fellowships and Mid-Atlantic Choreography Fellowships. \nPorter teaches Movement Analysis\, Choreography\, and Improvisation at Montclair State University and Creativity as Practice at Fairleigh Dickenson University.
