New World Mini Danceathon

Hello and welcome to our New World. We will be hosting a mini danceathon streamed through Facebook on June 20th at 2:00 PM. We will be showing what our dancers have been working on while in the studio and online. We also have some students that have decided to send in some of their own work. Heidi Latsky Dance Workshop

Center for Modern Dance Education to Receive $10,000 Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts National Endowment for the Arts Acting Chairman Mary Anne Carter has approved more than $27 million in grants as part of the Arts Endowment’s first major funding announcement for FY2019.  Included in this announcement is a Challenge America grant of $10,000 to the Center for Modern Dance Education (CMDE), to support a project with the NYC-based Heidi Latsky Dance (HLD), a physically-integrated company featuring dancers with and without disabilities. A free open workshop, “A Way In,” will be offered on March 16, 10:30AM-12:30PM, at CMDE’s wheelchair-accessible studio at 84 Euclid Avenue in Hackensack.  The workshop, to be taught by members of the Heidi Latsky…
